Automatic process keeping

When using a bundled output of 20KW or more from the main/auxiliary unit, the combination setting will automatically adjust the losses on the auxiliary unit. When a certain auxiliary unit is shut down, the main unit will redistribute the output voltage and change the limit of max output power to compensate for those auxiliary units in the off state. The power will be disconnected for 100ms and then restarted with a new configuration.

PEll  Water cooling and ambient temperature PEll

The 10KW power supply of the inlet temperature of the cooling water is between 5 and 30 ℃, and the ambient temperature no more than 40 ℃, in order for the power supply to operate normally and stably.

Protection

PEll 10KW is professionally designed with a protective device to protect it from damages in the following situations:

Under any mismatched load conditions at the output end, the output power is returned according to the requirements of the circuit protection.

If the ambient temperature is too high and exceeds the specified temperature, it will directly cause the internal temperature to be higher than the pre-set range.

Low cooling water flow and/or high cooling water temperature will cause the internal temperature  to exceed the pre-set range.

AC power input voltage is too high or too low.

 Interlocking Device

The PEll 10KW power supply provides a signal serial circuit interlocking device with a 25pin, D-type connector.

Remarks: The interlocking device uses 2 pins. The current output from one pin must return to the other pin, and the circuit must be insulated from ground

This device does not come with output cable. The protective cover can hold standard shielding wires. Can install cables ranging from 0.35 inches (9mm) to 0.71 inches (18mm). Lock the elastic sleeve outside the cable to ensure EMI shielding effect. When bundled, the max difference in cable length between power supplies should not exceed 15 meters (50 feet). Refer to "Connecting Output Cables"

CEX/Drive cable

AO.9m (3 feet) cable is included randomly. One end is 50-pin, SCSI2, male connector with spring clip, and the other end is a connector with 2-56 screws. The cable is shielded and has an impedance of 100 ohms.

When bundling and connecting, the max distance between the two power supplies is 12.5m. And the max distance between the two CEX bundle units is also 15.2m. The CEX bundled power supply can output independently or be used as a combined output of bundled power supply.

When it exceeds the max current set by Tap by 20%, it is detected as current Arc, and Arc is eliminated by removing the output power for 10ms. The restart output power is based on the output rise time set by the program.

Arc（V-Arc）

Voltage Arc（V-Arc）

The voltage Arc circuit detects voltage drops in order to prevent the generation of current Arc before it occurs.(It is set voltage Arc off before delivery). Users can set the minimum voltage to activate the V-Arc circuit to 15%, 28%, 43%, or 60% of the full scale power under the current Tap setting. Once activated, the voltage Arc circuit will compare the output voltage and the total operating average output voltage every half cycle.  When the half cycle average voltage drops to the user set% loss (refer to "V-Arc Setting (S2)" on pages 6-6), the circuit automatically disconnects for a period of time. The time is set by the user between 90u and 440us, with a minimum step of 50us. Users can also set to completely turn off this circuit. The above settings are set by the 8-bit Dip switch on the logic board. (Refer to Tables 6-2, 6-4, 6-3)

Linear Constant

Output Rise Time Setting

The pre-set range is 18ms to 4.73s. The step is 18ms. The output setting is set by the 8-bit DIP jumper on the logic board. (Refer to Tables 6-8)
